Why

Nimble Journeys™ is a method that helps people expand their capacities to act in fluid situations. We teach anyone in a facilitative role how to use this method.

.

Some say playing the game means having the skills and executing well. If we saw the world only this way and we wanted to help, we’d all be teachers. We’d teach the skills.
.
But we’re not teachers and we don’t see the world that way. We realize the game is bigger than that. We believe that besides skills and execution there’s culture and mindset and personality and many other things that all take place on a field that’s uncertain and moving about.
.
.
Whatever the unique and personal history that has taken us here, we want to assist players in this larger game. Whatever our titles – parents, coaches, managers, facilitators – we want to be the guides on this dynamic journey.
.
Because we know that today’s players — whether they be students or managers or doctors or architects or golfers or whatever they may be — play on a dynamic playing field. So instead of just bringing skills to the game, they must bring more of themselves to the game. In essence, they have to engage on a higher, more nuanced level. And we want to assist these players as they learn to engage on this higher level. We want to help them bring more of themselves to the game.

.

As a football coach I can teach players to match up with each game not only on skills but also on things like mindset and culture and focus. That way — game to game — they begin to see all the facets of themselves that they can bring to the game. And as their reasoning becomes more nuanced, they become better players.
